Case of Thyroiditis & IBS

C/o–  Pain in upper & mid of abdomen, cramps followed by loose & sticky stool since 6 months

Weight loss, weakness, vertigo since IBS

A/f  overuse of antibiotics?

K/C/O-  Hypothyroid

Medication : thyronorm 50 mg

P/H: lumps in breast, operated followed by IBS, TB of LN  in childhood     F/H:  F- DM, alcoholic M- hypothyroid   Investigations: Endoscopy shows- mild gastritis USG of Thy- thyroidistis HB 8. 9 gram percent TSH- 2.8   Mental Symptoms: Irritability+++ Cheerful Hobbies- likes to dress up, sports, like to try new things

CONCLUSION:

The case was started with a different remedy, based on aetiology and physical symptoms. Mental symptoms were not available during initial visits.

Later after more study & understanding of temperament, modalities LYCOPODIUM was selected which cured the case. Follow up was done for long time , even as I write, the patient is in touch, and only gets mild bloating after dietary indiscretions only. So no medicines are required .
