I think its time for a new nomenclature for our time after covid19 pandemic.

AC After Covid19

So I am going to rename this as

WORLD AFTER COVID19 ,31 MAY 2020 AC.

So far things have  been quiet stressful & uncertain already. Life after today will be different in many aspects .

Minds are full of insecurities in regards to health and finances.

People have been trying to cope with the negative thoughts  & burdens if either increased work load or no business at all!

There is so much to talk about but for now I want to focus on basics like personal safety & retaining ones sanity in this chaos.

MENTAL HEALTH IN COVID 19 PANDEMIC & POST LOCKDOWN

Untill now mental health experts , doctors & various authorities reassured us by saying that “YOU ARE AT YOUR HOME, YOU ARE SAFE “But as lockdown comes to and end and we are asked to move out and to live our lives again…we are again in a uncertain & stressed state  and thinking HOW? 

Does the virus disappear suddenly by 1 July or for that matter any date given ? NO

The virus lives, mutatates & occasionally kills ( some 2-3 % population ) and probably hopes for us to be extinct !

Well , this planet belongs to all creatures, living , non living or the in betweens like viruses.

We have lived with other viruses so far ? Haven’t we?  Remember the theory of survival of the fittest we studied in biology…

And being fitter not only means lifting in the gym, but also means having a healthier immune system & strong enough mind that keeps one NOT-LOSE-IT in the times of crisis. ( A stressed mind interfere with immune system responses too. )

Try to live, one day at a time.

Take up one task at a time.

Be here, be in present , do not dwell on some imaginary & uncomfortable future.

Be prepared for the worse case scenario but don’t over do it.

( Keep a hospital bag packed , may be make a will if you are rich ).

So now those who were at home ,  leave the safety  & comfort and move out , by thinking of those doctors , nurses, health workers, police, CRP, sanitation works, government officials, bankers , grocers, street vendors who have been outside since march 2020 and are alive & well.

Lets us talk about safety measure now, although its been talked about at lengths still I will remind the readers about-

  1. Safe distancing : Avoiding crowds & public places unnecessarily. Those planning to visit offices  ought to take the right measures now.
  2. Hand hygiene: Avoiding touching face , surfaces, objects touched by many people .
  3. Safety from aerosol by way of masks.

A cotton or basic surgical mask is sufficiently useful for general population, it can be washed & reused as well. It lets you breath easily without feeling uncomfortable in any sense. A common man , who isn’t infected  doesn’t need anything fancy , just keeping nose & mouth covered in PUBLIC PLACES is SUFFICIENT.

While walking, running one should pull down mask as its may interfere in breathing as oxygen demand is more during activity. But if you stop to talk to anyone please cover nose & mouth again!

KIDS & MASK- Kids find it difficult to breath via mask, especially those having adenoids & some allergies. Please make sure to give them mask which is comfortable, NOT TIGHT, NOT TOO THICK and strings are well adjusted and don’t dig into their delicate skin behind ears.

  • IMMUNITY

The virus is not going anywhere NOR going to extinct in some time. Its the humans who have to develop immunity against by –

1. Get infected, then you have antibodies against it & you can live happily .

2. Take the vaccines, which MAY BE useful or may lead to a milder infection ( its a virus it will mutate often)

3. Take Homeopathic Immunity booster meds or Constitutional Medicines , they are protective for some and for some they may get a mild illness & recover. ( So far the results have been good for the covid positive cases as well )

WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS?

  1. Do not hide or avoid taking medical help on account of fear of going to a doctor. Do not delay treatments . Symptom range is quiet wide, from cold to diarrhea or collapse , be informed & prompt.
  2. Reach out to your family or known doctor first thing , for guidance.  
  3. AVOID taking too much of NSAIDS like IMOL, IBUGESIC , IBUPROFEN, Also antibiotics for viral fever are useless.  HCQ ( hydroxychloroqin) is not safe & shouldn’t be taken without supervision.
  4. DO NOT AVOID basic blood testing & x ray. They help in early diagnosis & differentiating COVID 19 from other  infections.

RT- PCR testing and results may take some time & the process is slightly longer in many cities.

  • Be logical, Do not panic. COVID19 is not something incurable. The virus has kills 2-3 % of those infected, and rest recover well. If you or your family get infected don’t hesitate to take consultation from your trusted homeopathic doctor. ( So far , as I write this on 31 may 2020, we are not officially allowed to treat covid19 patients as they are in strict  isolation wards ) We have successfully helped a number of “ suspected covid 19 cases “.
