In today’s context it can be seen in the form of googling ones symptoms. Almost every other patients googles his/ her symptoms, we need to differentiate which patient is obsessed with it, and whos is simply checking.
- Calcarea has fear of disease, germs, incurable illness, heart diease etc. Calc also has OCD like tendencies & extremely insecure which leads them to above behaviour.
- Carcinocin- Has fear of cancer, incurable disease, fear that he cant tolerate medicines, very sensitive to horrible stories & bad news, hypochondriacal & extremely sensitive to even others suffering.
- Nux Vomica- fear of disease & anxiety when sick is very prominent. Hasty, impatient during treatment. Hypochondriac. Sometimes nux has a fear of going to doctor. These individuals sometimes keep doing unnecessary tests ( due to hypochondriasis ) without asking or visiting doctors. They also of OCD tendency so may become obsessed with certain symptoms and over do things to prevent that particular disease like fad diet.
- Pulsatilla – Timid, need reassurance so keeps looking for information & others experiences. Often posts her issues on social media even to seek the same. Timidity , helpless feeling & indecisiveness makes them go from doctor to doctor & change treatment often
- Staphy- Anxiety about his own health is quiet prominent, has secretive nature so keeps searching in the net instead of actually going to the doctor. His worry revolves around sexuality, masturbation , past abuse & its consequences. They tend to dwell on sexual topics, gradually as they trust the doctor.
- Sulphur- Curious individual, worry about social position & appearances, keep searching for home remedies and various things on google. They many times boast as if they know more then the doctor & ask about how xyz works and so on.
Few more remedies who have hypochondrical nature are LYCO, NIT ACID, ARS.
